Specialist trainer of young & problem horses, from the private 'riding horse' sector right across the board to the racing industry. (See website). With over 25 years experience, initially in racing & then working & studying with the pioneers of new methods of horse training in America & Scandinavia, Gary developed a unique insight into the psychology of the horse. He uses the term natural horsemanship to best describe his training methods that are based on observation of horses in the wild, in particular how one lead mare actively manages the behaviour of other horses in a herd without the need for aggression. With an ever growing demand from Trainers all over the UK, Ireland & Europe, Gary offers a unique service the racing industry in dealing with horses who have issues with starting stalls, ridden work and also during the Yearling Season when he and his team will break in over 400 horses each year at home & in Ireland.
