I have experience working with stallions, mares and foals, youngsters, including breaking young ponies. I have also brought on and work with ex-racers of my own. I am happy with any yard work or exercising if required. I have brought on young horses and competed in county-level showing and up to novice level dressage with animals I have started from scratch. I am currently working towards a Masters in Law but am doing this part time so am able to work full time, alongside working my own horse.

Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.
From Showjumping, to showing/eventing and foals through to stallions I have experience in all aspects of the equestrian world. I am looking for my next long term journey where I can spend my days working with the animals I love, and carry out my exceptionally high standards for the right person.

Mucking out, grooming, feeding, hay, checking for injuries, bring in, turning out and just making sure that the yard is at a high standard
I have been studying horse care for 3 years, but was in yard prior to that. I have just passed my NVQ level 2 diploma in horse care passing with a distinction. I would definitely like to learn more in the future.
I have a high standard of mucking out and keeping the yard clean. I have experience working with a range of animals such as horses, donkeys, goats. I have experienced working with competition horses and riding school horses. I have good communication skills and have helped volunteers with work and training them. I know how to tack up.and I have good time management.
I was learning to ride before covid happened but I can walk, trot and I.was learning to canter. I would definitely love to learn how to ride.
