I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Currently I am working at a local livery yard, carrying out all duties related to horse and stable care. This was a temporary position to fill in over the winter. However, I am now looking for a more permanent position within the equine industry.
I am competent and confident around horses and ponies. I own and competed a Welsh Section D, in various local shows including the Westmorland County Show and interbranch dressage and tetrathlon whilst at pony club. In the past few years I have broken in a young dales pony. I can take initiative to get things done and also work well as part of a team and muck out to a high standard. I am comfortable hacking out or schooling alone or with company, with light hands and an independent seat.
