currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.
From Showjumping, to showing/eventing and foals through to stallions I have experience in all aspects of the equestrian world. I am looking for my next long term journey where I can spend my days working with the animals I love, and carry out my exceptionally high standards for the right person.
No I have not been fortunate enough to have the privilege.
I learnt all my grooming and turn out skills from going to summer training camps at a horse ranch in Hungary, which is at quite an elite level. For over 7 years.
In the past, I have worked with mares, some skittish and others more docile. I have good experience in grooming horses, from hooves to their coats and mane, and in mucking out stalls. Being a very tidy person is what I've always been known as, so keeping a tidy yard would not be a problem. Even if I don't know something I'm quick and eager to learn the skills and master them to be fast and efficient at carrying out the tasks.
I have 7 years of experience in horse riding. I have ridden problem horses before, even in their state of hysteria, without any accidents caused. Mares of around mid to younger ages are which I have ridden on. The type of riding that I have done most akin to flat work. I have not yet had the opportunity or privilege to experience starting a horse, but would love to.
