I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Horse trainer, animal husbandry, riding instructor
I've been working in the horse industry since 2014. First at big r farms. Then at OSU Large Animal Vet Hospital. And after that at Sunset Shires
I've worked with foals, stallions, broodmares.
I was assistant barn manager at big r.
I'm pretty great at dealing with unruly horses on the lead line. Not much hurts or scares me.
I've ridden young horses, green horses, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, English Shires, Quarter horses, Standardbreds, Ponies, Paints, Draft crosses, and Arabs.
I have started horses, trained horses, tuned up horses, and Pony busted. I'm great at lunging, groundwork, desensitization, ground driving, and I can even drive a horse in cart or a team on a wagon.
I mainly ride English and have taught begginer hunter/jumper lessons to students for years now. Took some of my students to shows, and won blue ribbons.
I also groomed for my team, when my barn manager took us to Kentucky Rolex.
