Duties of current occupation
I ride 4-5 horses a day and teach riding. Also part-time salesman at a gym.
Equine work experience
In 2010 I have competed in national 130/135cm classes with my self-trained mare. She is the one I would like to take with me when I go abroad.
I have helped train many ponies and pleasure horses, and for the last 3-4 years I have also been teaching their riders. I have worked at a horse dealing stable, where I did stable duties, rode horses, went to shows with the horses, showed the horses for qustomers etc.
I know how to clip a horse and how to pull it's mane. I can do most aspects of grooming, though I've never actually worked as a groom.
Specialities
I am positive, hardworking and a fast learner. Jumping is my specialty but I have also always been very interested in working on the flat. I feel one of my greatest strengths in riding is my ability to solve problems.
I speak Finnish and Swedish as mother tongue, English fluently, some German and basic Spanish.
Type of ride work
I wish to work at a show jumping or sales stable with quite many horses, hopefully more than 15. I am a good team-worker and get along really well with all kinds of people. I wish to work for a team though I am capable of independent work.
I am a very dedicated and through person, so I would like the yard to be with high standards. I am more than willing to work my ass off but in exchange I want to learn so much I virtually transform into another person during the working experience.
Competition details
I have showjumped up to 130/135cm (about 4'3"/4'4") on my mare Escala. On other horses I have competed up to 1m.
