Qualifications
In September 2009 I qualified as a McTimoney-Corley Equine Spinal Therapist with Distinction.
In 2010 I completed my Stage 1 and Riding & Road Safety, and in February 2011 I achieved my Stage 2 (complete). I would like to work towards my PTT and Stage 3 over the next few years but am currently focusing on improving my own horse.

Duties of current occupation
Treating horses for musculo-skeletal problems following trauma/injury, for maintenance purposes particularly during competition season, or where uncharacteristic lack of interest in work develops.
Equine work experience
I have ridden for approximately 15 years and used to compete with the Pony Club and Riding Club as a child in both show jumping and one day events. I have recently bought a new horse and am re-educating her on the flat as she has spent the last 2 years doing purely jumping at great speed!
I spent 5 months (Nov 08 - Mar 09) working at a livery yard/riding school two days a week, mucking out, grooming, and tacking up; and I have been volunteering with RDA since Nov 08 preparing horses for sessions (bring in, feed, groom, tack up), leading or sidewalking during sessions, then brushing off and turning out afterwards. In June 2010 I started teaching one session a week aswell. I also exercise one of the RDA horses once a week, and am re-introducing a young horse to work after several years off for a local farmer one/twice a week.
Specialities
I volunteer with New Yatt RDA and instruct one of the sessions there each week. I am a McTimoney-Corley Equine Spinal Therapist and treat horses at various local yards, mainly where an unexplained lack of performance has developed or where they have become 'unbalanced'.
Type of ride work
Mostly flat work and hacking now, I still have lessons for my own benefit and jump from time to time though just for fun now.
Competition details
I have not competed since I was about 14 years old (19 years ago), although when my horse and I have settled down together I would like to start doing local shows and RC again.
I have this year joined the West Oxfordshire Riding Club and booked in for some Show Jumping training, with a view to competing locally this summer.
