Equine work experience
I have been around horses for 15 years and have worked on a local riding school and livery yard in that time. This included all stable duties. Since the age of 9 I have owned my own horse varying from my first little show pony to eventing thoroughbreds. Whilst working in the riding school, I helped to bring on nervous ponies which then gave me the experience to start breaking them in from scratch. Most of the ponies then going on to be used in the riding school as they were so quiet and calm. Currently I am training my horse in order to event him this season, I have taken him to the Senior Jumping Championships a few times and he has got better each time. I have jumped a 1.10m course but am currently jumping comfortably at the 1m height. I am also jumping 95cm around a cross country course.
