Duties of current occupation
My job involves ensuring the company is meeting all legal requirements with regard to the Health & Safety at work act, to write and update policies and procedures, to ensure managers are monitoring their staffs compliance with health & safety. I also
Equine work experience
I worked for several years at two different riding stables where i was head groom and took hacks out and gave lessons to children and novices.
I also worked for 6 months on a show jumping yard in Italy where i was the sole groom for 6 horses.
I also spent 3 years in the Kings Troop 'Royal Horse Artillery' where i spent 6 months looking after HRH Prince Charles 2 hunters.
Specialities
I have not worked with horses for several years for financial reasons, however following my wife's death last year I have decided that money is not everything and you should if at all possible do what you love.
If i was lucky enough to be offered a job and accommodation was included I have to be honest and say i would need to bring my 3 year old daughter.
Type of ride work
To be honest I have not ridden for years but in the past I have, taken out hacks, Show jumped, one day events, hunted and ridden in performances with The Royal Horse Artillery.
Competition details
In the past I have show jumped, one day events, done hunter trials and competed in tetrathlons (pistol shooting, swimming, cross country running and horse riding)
