Job Description

Experienced and enthusiastic horse professional required to become valued member of the team and family.
Horse duties include exercising (and competing if skills allow) quality European dressage horses. As well as feeding, rugging, stable cleaning and other aspects of daily care for horses (including young horses, competition horses and breeding stock). Training and lessons will also be provided.
This position may also include care of owners children (2 year old boy and 6 month old girl) while owner is riding and grooming for owner at dressage competitions and training events.

Requirements

Must be able to handle young horses including foals and yearlings. Experience breaking/starting young horses would be an advantage.

Required Skills

Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Plaiting; Trim/Pull.

Required Expertise

Dressage; Flatwork.

Accommodation

Accomodation available in newly renovated one-bedroom apartment in barn complex or seperate bedroom/bathroom suite in main house. Including use of swimming pool, tennis court and car.

Private dressage breeding and training facility in beautiful Southern Highlands, 5 minutes from Bowral town and just over 1 hour from Sydney.
Indoor dressage arena, 8 stable barn, outdoor round arena, day paddocks, 1 bedroom apartment in stable complex.
Recreation facilities include swimming pool and tennis court.
