Job Description
We are looking for motivated grooms with at least 3 years polo experience, You will be required to maintain your own string of horses, be competent in handling the horses safely and quickly. A positive and hard working attitude is important. Keeping the yards, feed room, tack and horses clean is paramount. Your string will comprise of highly competitive horses and you will be grooming for Professional players and patrons, 4,6 and 7 goalers. The team will be touring Australia's finest polo facilities including Ellerston and Garangular with some local tournaments.The season last three months from mid August through to mid November 2011, with one month worth of travel. The highly competitive team will be transporting more than 40 horses and needs a strong support team to win. Located 50 minutes from Sydney and the property is situated on the Hawkesbury River. Five minute drive from the local village (Richmond),which has a cinema,two major shopping centres and four popular pubs,there is even a club in town. The accommodation is on the property,modern,clean and large. You will also have accesss to a vehicle

The Facility
We are looking for motivated grooms with polo experience to join our busy yet fun team. We have a fantastic facility including a brand new stable block, horse walker, all weather arena, 1.5KM exercise track, 2 polo fields and the best machinery to make the job more enjoyable. You will be required to maintain your own string of horses, be competent in handling the horses safely and quickly. Your string will comprise of highly competitive horses and you will be grooming for Professional players and patrons, 4,6 and 7 goalers. Other duties will include keeping yards, feed room, tack room and gear clean. A positive and hard working attitude is essential. Accommodation and vehicle will be provided. I am now also looking for weekend grooms to join our fun team.
