Job Description

The position involves everyday stable management (including cleaning stables, making up feeds, feeding and other mundane every day routine activities), helping to serve mares, tease mares and foal mares down during the stud season, training horses to be shown in hand and undersaddle for Agricultural shows to major shows within NSW. Some farm maintenance activities (i.e. mowing grass, mending fences, weeding gardens) would also be expected.
The applicant would be encouraged to complete Certificate 111 in Agriculture (Horse breeding) and would be given practical help to do this. It is envisaged that the applicant would need time during most days to pursue this activity.

An ability to ride would be an advantage but not essential.

The Facility

We stand 3 stallions and breed mainly Anglo Arabs and Riding Ponies.
We also have a show training stables and compete in dressage and endurance
