Job Description

Daily duties include feeding, rugging, mucking out, turning out, preparing horses for lessons and competitions, and general duties.

Honest, hard-working person sought who can work in a team and also complete duties with little direction or supervision. Suit someone looking for a long-term position. Opportunities to compete and/or career development as rider/trainer or instructor for suitable applicant.

The Facility

Professional dressage yard situated in Brisbane's bayside, 40 minutes from CBD, 30 minutes from Brisbane Airport, and 60 minutes to Gold Coast. High quality performance horses produced and competed, with the complex housing a small stud breeding program with 8 broodmares. Also home to a small harness racing team. Establishment also provides premium agistment and rider instruction/education catering for all standards of riders. Approximately 40 horses are kept on the property.

Facilities include a 60m x 20m floodlit outdoor arena with 20m of mirrors, 30m x 90m showjumping area, 18m x 18m square yard, 8 horse walker, 700m exercise track, cross-country jumps, ten 4m x 4m stables with 6m x 5m day yards including two rehabilitation stables, three 5m x 4m stables with 15m x 25m yards (all stables have ecosorb rubber matting and automatic waterers), post and rail day paddocks, and foaling paddock.
