Job Description
We are a boutique dressage stables located in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and we are urgently seeking a dressage rider/groom to join our team. Your job will involve feeding horses, cleaning stables, riding horses, grooming, assisting with the breeding, training and handling foals and all things you would expect to do at a dressage stables.

Requirements
Must be able to work on your own or in a team.
Must be a confident rider. You will learn a load riding for our dressage stables but you must have the basics. We compete on a monthly basis so you would be helping with preparing the horses i.e washing, plaiting grooming etc.
Required Skills
Riding; Driving license; Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Lunging; Bandaging; Plaiting; Clipping; Trim/Pull.
Required Expertise
Dressage; Stud.
Accommodation
Shared accommodation is provided. It is a clean and tidy room located in the stables along with another room which makes up the kitchen and the bathroom. Wireless internet is available and also the use of a staff car.
Benefits
This is an opportunity to work as a groom and dressage rider. We have two beautifully bred Dutch Warmblood stallions that we use for breeding so you would get to see how the breeding program works. You will have a lesson each week with Dirk. We have a selection of super horses so you will have the ability to really improve your riding skills on good horses.
