Job Description
Head trainer for warmblood stable. Starting young stock and preparing all stock for sale. Dressage or jumping background. Would consider a western rider if they have the skills needed to break young horses.
Requirements
Must be able to work on their own. The facility is well laid out and not labor intensive. There will be no stalls to clean except for day use cleaning. Feeding horses is easy as all paddocks have round bale feeders and feed is put out weekly by tractor.
Required Skills
Riding; Handling Youngstock; Sole Charge; Starting/Breaking.
Required Expertise
Dressage; Show Jumping.
Accommodation
My home is clean and comfortable. You will have your own bedroom and may have to share a bathroom. If you are bringing a horse, you may choose to keep it stabled with outdoor turnout.
Benefits
You will be required to live in my home but it is clean and comfortable and you will be able to request preferred foods. (within limits) You may bring a horse at no charge.
The indoor arena is heated and there are many features that make handling a training schedule easy.
The Facility
Beautiful, quiet country setting, indoor heated arena and stalls, outdoor arena. Six bedroom, clean comfortable home and excellent meals that I share with my employee. Heated workshop. This is a private barn so normally there are no boarders, the work is easy because I do not keep horses inside. No stalls to do...no walking out hot horses, they go into a stall that blows warm air set on a timer. Most of the work is training young warmbloods for the sport horse market. I am an older lady that has ridden, coached and trained at the F.E.I. levels. I still start the young horses and do ferrier work so I am not unfit but I am slowing down so I need a full time person that will work into a partner in the opperation. They can freelance teaching and training as well as recieve a twenty percent commission on all horses sold. This would be a long term position for the right person.
