Job Description

Position available in September 2012. We are looking for a fun and energetic person to care for our 3 children (ages 5, 2 and 1). Opportunity to also assist with general farm duties including feeding/exercising/grooming horses, cleaning house/barn, gardening and general yard maintenance, etc. Wife is an equine and small animal veterinarian who will be working part-time hours.

Requirements

Individual must be in good health with a positive attitude and good work ethic. This position requires that individuals be flexible as veterinary medicine and family life can both have unpredictable schedules.

Required Skills

Riding; Driving license.

Required Expertise

Working with children.

The Facility

My husband and I live on a farm in Central Alberta where we have horses and cattle. We have a daughter who is 4 years old, a son who is 19 months old and we are expecting a third child in August 2011. My husband works in the oil industry and I am an equine and small animal veterinarian. Our property is appx. 480 acres with an indoor riding arena, we are currently constructing a new horse barn. I am involved in three day eventing and my husband participates in rodeo.
