Job Description

Helping with all kinds of work at the farm. Looking after our animals seriously during our holidays. Doing groundwork with our foals and youngsters, helping with the studwork (breeding, foaling, horseduty ...), cleaning stables every day and yard in the summer.
We want to find a horsegirl who is selfstarting, sensitive with the horses, responsible and reliable, honest and tidy. Who has interest in our horses and a clean yard.
Looking for a longer term (min. 6 - 12 month). Should have ground knowlegde of riding and handling horses in natural horsmanship and solecharge.
Work will be 6 days per week.

We have got 5 stallions, 12 breeding mares, some promissing youngsters who will stay with us, some yearlings for sale and 3 to 9 foals every year.

We are living in the countryside, but there will be a possibility to go into the city for shopping nearly every day.

If wanted, the groom can learn everything around the Arabian Horse Business, handling, training and managing a farm with 20 to 25 horses.

Requirements

Sensitive handling of horses, to be careful with animals and stuff, to be conscientious and solid in all parts of your work, able to speak German or English quite fluently.

Required Skills

Equine First-Aid; Handling Youngstock; Sole Charge; Exercising; Natural Horsemanship.

Required Expertise

Sole Charge; Stud.

Accommodation

Pretty new sleeping-room, combined kitchen-livingroom and bathroom for your use only is for free, fully furnished with washing machine and all stuff you need for the daily life. After moving to our new yard we offer a seperate, renovated appartement with bathroom, kitchen, linving- and bedroom.
Rooms have to be kept tidy and cleaned regulary by the groom!

The Facility

Private Arabian Horse Farm with 5 stallions, 12 mares, 3 youngsters, some sales horses and between 5 and 10 foals every year.

Private dog breeder and alpacas at the farm.

As soon as possible, we are surching for a non-smoking, animal loving person :-) who is selfstarting, honest, careful with the horses, responsible and reliable. A girl who knows, that horses always mean: fun and work, who keeps horses, yard and her own rooms tidy.
