Job Description

Young Dutch couple at private yard in Germany nearby the Dutch border is seeking as from the end of May 2012 a reliable, enthusiastic person, who loves to work with horses: grooming, feeding, lunging, mucking-out stables, cleaning, helping with the foals being born and get them used to people and so on. You will work together with another working student. We are looking forward to your letter in which you tell us something about your experience and your motivation. Requirements

It's important to realise that working with horses requires some specific skills. Being patient for instant, but also being assertive when necessary. The work can at times also require some physical strength. With these skills the work will be easier for you and you will definately have a great time at our farm!

You will have your own room in our house. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner together as a family.

The Facility

Monumental farm house at beautiful countryside location with forest nearby run by young Dutch couple. On a daily basis approximately 8 dressage horses are trained from green to Grand Prix level. Furthermore 7 KWPN mares are used for breeding. For 2012 the foals are expected in the period March-June. Also youngstock from foal to 3 year old is taken care off on a daily basis. Outdoor 20 x 60 riding track and lunging facility are present. In addition to a salary of 200 euro a month you will be provided with live in and dressage training by a Grand Prix dressage rider.
