Job Description

• teaching our intermediate / advanced students
• train our horses
• be in charge when YARD MANAGER is absent
• help in organising events
• put in practise his knowledge and experience in order to expand our activities
• inspire clients to get more involved either by becoming owners or by just riding more

We are looking for an experienced instructor who can train our students to competition level, help them buy sports horses and guide to competitions outside of Crete.

We are looking for a long term co operation, a solid partnership that can benefit all parties.

1st of February 2012 starting date (trial period in January).

Requirements

Applicants MUST be:
25yrs -45yrs
european only
with solid experience in teaching children,
Professional competition trainer
single with no family commitments
be able to start as soon as possible and come for 1 week trial periode before getting employed

Required Skills

Riding; First-Aid; Schooling; Lunging; Teaching; Sole Charge; Exercising; Starting/Breaking.

Required Expertise

Dressage; Riding School; Show Jumping; Working with children.

Accommodation

we offer accommodation during the trial week and we support you in finding your own accommodation in the surrounding area

The Facility

Ippikos Omilos Irakliou is the biggest riding school on Crete. We own 16 horses and offer livery to some private horses too. The establishment has all horses boxed and training takes places to the 3 different arenas that we have including an indoor.
We offer riding lessons to both beginers and advanced riders as well as competition training towards national shows. Riding to the beach and offering some holiday programms to tourist is part of our activities as well.
