Aupair/GroomCork

Job Description

See lots of photos on our Face book page. (Valley View Equestriand Centre.) I am looking for someone who will happy to work as an aupair in the house and groom/rider in the yard. I do also have another full time aupair too. You would be also doing some basic yard duties, and will get opertunity to ride. For capable riders there will be more riding. This position involves both yard work and riding as well as house work and childminding. (you would be in the house when the other aupair is on a day off. And also helping for an hour or two with the childrens homework on evenings that i am not home.) There will also be stable duties, and some riding. sometimes it may be a half in yard and half in house. Depends on what is happening both inside and out.. For experienced riders who are able to ride and school young horses there will be a lot more riding. We need a real all rounder who will help where ever needed . Work in riding school and with young horses. Help with 4 young children, housework and cooking, shopping, laundry, etc. There will be plenty of riding work for someone who is competent and capable of riding young and innexperienced horses, and improving them while they work. More novice riders will get lessons. You can also ride as much as you wish on your time off.. You will need to catch and prepare the pony/horse yourself. Requirements

I am looking for someone who can start ASAP, and stay for the hunting season at least. You must have previous experience with horses and children. References essential.
. All riders are also required to do mucking out and sweeping and general yard duties.
The position will suit someone who is energetic and likes to see things neat tidy.`
Experience looking after children is also necessary.

Accommodation

appartment adjoining house. Toilet, shower, small kitchen area, TV. Large bedroom for two people. All food provided .. Snaks, fruit etc available in own appartment. Central heating. Hairdryer provided.

.Riding lessons given. Oppertunity to compete for capable riders. You may also ride as much as you want in your time off, For capable riders riding out will be part of your work. We are now starting the hunting season, you will get to ride at some local meets, and also get to go on cross country fun rides. If you stay till spring there will be hunter trials.

The Facility

AIRE aprpved Equestrian Centre offering lessons, trekking, pony camps, AIRE exam training and exams. Breaking and schooling,pre training for racehorses. hire of hunters, HORSES AND PONIES FOR SALE. show jumping compts.Lots of oppertunity to ride for competent person.Great experience to be gained with a variety of types and tempermants. Whether your interest is in hunting. cross country, showjumping or basic dressage. Young horses or schooling. You will gain experience here.
We have 2 seperate barns, one for the riding school and my horses, and one for Alex horses and his business. The riding school barn has 6 stables and an open area on to a yard which can have up to 18 ponies. Alex has 16 stables. We also have an outdoor arena. Lunging pen, horse walker. Show jumping course. Some cross country schooling fences, and lots of open spaces, woodes areas and natural obstacles.
