Job Description

You will be in sole charge of my yard, mucking out, grooming and all other yard duties. you will be riding young in experienced horses aswell as experienced horses but mostly just broken horses. you will be expected to do days out huntng, showjumping up to 1.10 and 1.20 and do a bit of hunter trialing.
this is a great oppertunity for a young rider wanting to compete and gain some experience at competing and riding young horses.

Requirements

you have to be able to ride and school young horses who have just been broken and havent a lot done. you will be expected to compete and hunt these horses. there are some horses who have done a good bit. you will have to showjump up to 1.10 and 1.20 indoors at showjumping shows on 1 or 2 of our showjumpers too. we need some one who is eager and enthusiastic about his/her job and enjoys what the are doing, they must be able to work alone.

The Facility

hi, we are a small stable yard with plenty young horses that are broken, trained and sold on. We also have a few showjumpers and some young event horses that we compete, but we mostle break young horses compete them for a few months and sell them on. we are situated in county cork in the country side. we have a lovely sand arena and plenty of places to ride horses, we have 8 stables at the stable yard and another 8 at the farm where all the young stock are. we are at shows, hunting or training almost every weekend and are hard working.
