Job Description
VACANCY – EQUINE OPERATIVE
ChildVision is the only dedicated centre of its kind in the Republic of Ireland, providing education and training for the visually impaired. Our students range in age from birth ti young adulthood. All have a visual impairment, some have additional disabilities. ChildVision seeks, through education, training and social care, to provide our students with the skills, knowledge and confidence to fulfill their individual potential, so each can lead the life of his/her choice.
As part of a programme of animal assisted therapy, we offer horseriding /equine care and stable management and currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified person to assist in the delivery of this programme. Care and maintenance of the animals is also a responsibility of the role.
The post is offered on a full-time and fixed term basis.
