Job Description
We Require A Capable and Experienced Rider to Jump, Break & Train Ponies, and take Full Charge of an Equestrian Centre in Connemara's No 1 Equine Centre, Including Feeding, Grooming & Stable duties. Situated in Connemara in the West of Ireland must be available to start straight away. This job is for one person, no pets or horses allowed to come with you.
We do trekking from Easter until the end of October.We have 8 Ponies for the Trekking which are very well behaved and trekking for years.
No time wasters please.
Person must be responsible, be able to work on their own initiative, position suitable for someone who wants to progress with Ponies.
All Ponies for breaking & training are Connemara's ranging from 14.2 hh to 15.2hh.
We have an indoor and outside arena.

Must have good English and should have Vaccinations for working with horses up to date.
Driving License may be an advantage.

The Facility
Equestrian Centre in Connemara in the West of Ireland.
We are looking for an ambitious and capable person that has good knowledge of the Equestrian Industry and able to handle & train young horses / ponies and bring them on to a high level of schooling and work for the top pony people in Connemara from April/May 2012. We have an indoor and outside arena.
This is a full time job in a yard that has a thriving existing business.
We do the trekking from Easter until the end of October .
You must be a good worker and be able to work on own iniative and to have an outgoing and bubbly personality. Must be able to break and school young horses and you must be able to jump a minimum of 1 metre. Yard responsibilities include Feeding, Grooming, Mucking out, Exercising and care.
Applicant preferably over 25 years to apply for this job, (insurance purposes) and ready to start as soon as possible .
We have staff accommodation very close by to the yard. (A 2 bed/room house)
