Job Description
Care and exercise of horses to include mucking out,grooming, feeding, walkering, lunging, riding. The applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative and be responsible for day-to-day running of the yard. The option of living-in can be arranged for suitable person.
Requirements
The applicant will need to be able to work on their own initiative. This is a family run yard with three of the family in college. As the main interest is showjumping, the horses require flatwork and exercise during the week. Experience with young horses and any equine qualifications an advantage.

Accommodation
If on-site accommodation is needed, accommodation may be provided in the family home, own room, self-catering.
Benefits
We run the yard to a high standard in both training and upkeep. Schooling and exercising will be carried out in consultation with the girls, Laura and Hannah, and their trainers. We are more than happy to share our experience of horsemanship as well as yard management.
The Facility
15 stables in 2 American barns and an isolation unit.
Sand arena 60 x 30m, 4 horse walker, 18m lung ring.
4 woodchip turnouts and 3 day grass turnouts. The farm is on 63 acres with 6-8 horses living out and 6-8 horses stabled. Showjumping is the main focus of the yard with young horses being brought on for jumping or sale.
