Job Description

Advanced rider training, pre-Equine Studies entry,BHS Stages/Dressage Tests,improve own horse. Irish Sport mare. Riding interview essential ,(if Irish applicant,and riding video/instructor references from EU students.One week working trial offered to UK/Irish riders.
Experienced rider (18-30 years),live- in, able to assist with Advanced stallion, (with the owner) and mares.Share exercising with second student of English language and dressage rider. Improve your skills, with prelim to Medium BHS dressage tests,Eventing Tests,and Dressage Ireland events.Stable management duties/field or garden work, for same stabled horses, who will have grass/arena turnout daily,weather permitting, all necessary care and attention. Requirements

Minimum stay 12 weeks. Video/photo/references etc from instructor or previous trainer/centre etc, would be preferable and/ or, interview if living in Ireland/UK.Good canter transitions, using a secure deep seat, necessary for the Spanish stallion.Experience with own horses/riding private horses useful,as i now start a new 4 yrs sport mare .Eventing skills for young sport horse. View positive feedback from previous happy students.

Vacancies for winter months, and longer, for BHS exams, and chance to compete, on application,as several students have reserved placements for September.

The Facility

Private owner and UK trained Dressage Judge/ BHS Gold member, R&RS Trainer. Improve your Tests/English with Spanish stallion/ Advanced Dressage training/WP, individual/ intensive basis. Dressage Ireland Judge/TEFL Teacher. Farmhouse mezzanine bedroom, own WC/shower, lofted over your own living room/winter sun room. 8am start with breakfast. Free days/sleep in, negotiated with other trainee.Long term possibility. Volunteers only,not a business or a riding centre. Basic food/meals/transport included.Organic gardening training/landscaping/Irish Heritage/TEFL. Start for 6-12 months flexible/Year round available. Riding video/interview essential with application. 1 mare for Dressage basics/ instruction. BHS stages 1,2,3. Sand menage,3 stables/turnout stallion arena.Beach schooling/Truck.
