Job Description
Lissava Stud has vacancies for students from MAY 1st 2012, Fantastic opportunity for the right person who wishes to avail of an opportunity to work with top performance stallions, and competition horses. The students can gain valuable experience in handling mares & weaning foals, handling and training youngstock, and general stable managment to a high standard, running of a busy yard, producing showjumpers for sale and competition, handling stallions etc. This is a professional yard and a friendly environment,
Requirements
Must be able to work as a team, willing to learn, enthusiastic about the job.
Must have basic knowledge of stable management and handling horses.
Immediate start..
Required Skills
Riding; Handling Youngstock; Lunging; Bandaging; Plaiting; Trim/Pull.
Required Expertise
Eventing; Show Jumping; Stud.
Accommodation
Self catering accommodation with all mod cons on site to be shared with other members of staff/students.
