Job Description
River Lodge Eventing in Wexford, Ireland seeks experienced, dedicated, competition groom with yard management skills for a busy event yard.
RLE is a growing, vibrant and dynamic Eventing Team who's international success is on the up through consistent impressive performances at Irish and UK Events. The reason we are telling you about our commitment towards this success is we are looking for someone who is equally committed towards success and being the back bone that drives the yard forward from behind the scenes. Winning results start with the stable management and this is why getting the right groom means so much to us. We are on the road competing nationwide over twice a week with a string of over 16 horses on the go and need someone who is up for this challenge! Horses are our life and we are focused and passionate about what we do and we need someone who is up to the challenge of running, maintaining and producing a top class event yard.
Requirements
must be willing to work and learn. we are not interested in people that are more interested in their day off then their work!
Required Skills

Accommodation
odern 3 bed roomed mobile home on yard with satellite TV and broadband, gas and electricity is paid for. You buy your own food).

There may be an opportunity for this to turn into a full time job for the right person. Riding training offered as a perk of the job from two highly rated, experienced event riders. You get the opportunity to travel throughout Ireland and to International shows both home and abroad.
The Facility
Facilities include brand new state of the art purpose built 2010 large american barn. steel bar protected secure large tackroom/kitchen. Hot water washdown area. 65 x 55m olympic sized arena with Wexford sand all weather surface(all of which are closelly monitored by CCTV). Plans for a new 6 horse walker, additional 8 horse barn and a 20x40m warm up arena are in place for 2011. Quiet hacking.
