Job Description
We run a rehab centre and beach horse trails, but we also have a Cape Cart which we have done two weddings with and would like to continue doing to generate finances for the centre.
We had a Fresian and a Percheron that pulled the cart, but lost the Percheron to cancer last year.
We need help with the training a pair and the up keep of the cart it was built in 1892 and is a gem.
We also have two other carts from West Bromich one built in 1907 and 1917.
Requirements
Training and driving tandam, maybe carpentry and knowledge of horse drawn vehicles are the main requirements. Experience in riding and basic knowledge of horse care managment and a passion of course. Help us sort out the Cape Cart and use it for weddings it could generate another income for our rehab centre.

Accommodation
There is live in accomodation or a self contained two bedroomed cottage attached to the main homestead. Also we have a rodavel close by which is for sleeping only, but gives you your space. Or a tent under the stars, theres no mosquitoes in our area.

Ride on the beach next to the Indian ocean on horse back and help with "Horses Working for Horses. The Facility

We have been running trails for 14 years and rehab centre for 11, trails on the beach next to the Indian Ocean is an income for the rescue centre.
"Horses Working for Horses", most of our trail horses are previously rescued, abused or unwanted, They have been through rehab and work for the other guys. All our trail horses are turned out in their social groups, we have 17 working horses the other 27 are at the centre.
We need help with training young horses to harness and experience in driving tandem.
Your contribution as a volunteer covers your stay and whats left over helps to transpot rescue horses, it pay vets, medication, farrier and dentist. Very often we pay the owners be able to rescue these horses.
Bypass the agents and spend time with us riding the beach or working with youngsters and oldies, we need the financial assistance of volunteers and the extra hands. Please Help
