Job Description

Groom required as second groom to main travelling, needed at moment to go to med tour in spain for four weeks in February, then full time position available in main yard and travelling when first groom requires assistance. Working with strong team of international horses and riders, must be willing to travel and relocate to another country when necessary for periods of time.

Requirements

Must be able to work well in a team, enthusiastic and have a high standard of turnout. Willing to travel to international shows.

Required Skills

Lunging; Bandaging; Clipping; Trim/Pull; Exercising.

Required Expertise

Show Jumping.

Shared accomodation in house on yard equipped with all comforts and amenities including central heating, wifi, wash machine and drier.

The Facility

We are a private showjumping yard, which breeds and produces top quality showjumping horses. Our horses regularly compete in showjumping competitions throughout Europe. Our yard also has racehorses which are trained seperately but which come back to the main yard occasionally for rehabilitation, we also take in horses for rehabilitation, and we host clinics through out the year with a top Belgium vet. We have three yards altogether, with 100 acres between them, two menages, one new Andrews Bowen competition size, a grass competition ring and a sand training gallop. We have a eight horse covered walker and 17 stables with rubber matting on main yard, and three barns for young stock and rehab horses in seperate yard. There are at the moment two riders competing for Ireland and Egypt,three full time staff and two part time staff. A shared house is included and use of shared vehicle.
