Job Description
We are currently seeking a working student for our private showjumping yard who has a good level of riding capability especially in dressage and past experience working with horses.
The candiate must be be reliable, trustworthy and have a will to develop.
The duties for the position will include the following:
*Feeding in the morning/lunchtime/evening
*Grooming
*Exercising Daily
*Prep for Shows
*Working with Stallions
*Stable Management - all general work (mucking out morning and evening)
*Clipping & Grooming, platting, pullling mains etc
*Assisting at Showjumping Events
Required Skills
Riding; Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Lunging; Bandaging; Plaiting; Clipping; Trim/Pull; Sole Charge; Exercising.
Required Expertise
Dressage; Show Jumping; Sole Charge; Flatwork.
Accommodation
* Accommodation on site in a Static Home - which
is fully equipped with modern appliances, Central Heating, Washing Machine,
Tumble Dryer etc.
*There is no additional charge for accommodation, electricity or oil.
You are required to prepare and cook your own meals.
