Job Description
General yard duties, grooming, mucking out, (occassional catching in - autumn/winter only), sweeping up. Possiblity of riding for the appropriate rider to help exercise the horses.
Requirements
Must be ok with dogs as ours will be about on the yard. looking for someone for 3 hours a day- 6 days a week. flexible working time hours to be agreed- not starting earlier than 930 though.
or would consider 2 grooms one to cover monday - saturday with sunday and a week day off and one to do a weekday and sunday.
You must have high standards and take pride in your work.
Required Skills

Benefits
I am an BHSAI so once the school is built there is the possibility of lessons if wanted. I also ride for films on occassion and sometimes need to take a groom but this is not guaranteed im afraid as it depends on the work im doing.
The Facility
We are a small private yard currently with 9 horses, ( including two stallions), and 1 pony. We are looking for help with general yard duties, mucking out, rug change, feet picking out, hay/haynets, water etc all in all 3 - 31/2 hours work per day Monday-Saturday.
Also looking for applicant to fulfill the same duties on a Sunday only - please specify which you are interested in.
Occasionally required to be available to help with vet/farrier and dentist.
There is the possibility of some riding for an appropriate candidate in your own time if wanted.
We need you to be reliable and trustworthy with a good attitude towards work and capable of working quickly and efficiently on your own to a high standard using your initiative when needed, but also able and willing to follow the yard routine.
You must also be comfortable with dogs.
Currently we do not have a menage and have to ride out in Windsor Great Park, but planning permission has been applied for.
