Job Description

Instructor / Yard Supervisor required for a small family run riding school. Must be a minimum of BHSAI with good experience of the industry. Be confident to take sole charge at times. Will be expected to teach a wide variety of abilities from beginners to advanced small group lessons private and lunge lessons. Also be a confident rider that can keep schooling and educating the horses and ponies that work in the school.

Requirements

As the owner of the riding school and Chief Instructor I am looking for another Instructor to take my place on my days off and when I am competing. Therefore, it is essential that the ideal candidate for the job is experienced as well as qualified to take on this responsibility. Insurance dictates that this person must be a minimum of BHSAI, so sorry no NVQ3 plus coaching certificates can accepted or even PTT's.

Benefits

Opportunity to work with some really talented horses and ponies. Two horses work at Medium level dressage, most of the horses and ponies have competed and it's important to me that their lives are kept varied and interesting. Also I breed and have youngsters that need bringing on and schooling. There maybe opportunities to compete in the future for the right candidate

The Facility

We have a maximum of 25 boxes containing a combination of riding school horses and ponies, dressage horses,driving horses and ponies plus liveries. We have two meneges and a 5acre area to exercise in. Off road hacking in local woods. Based just outside doncaster we are close to all the ammenities.

It is essential that our staff are genuinely focused on providing a high standard of care for our horses. There are plenty of opportunities to ride and obtain your qualifications, however the ideal candidate must be prepared to put the horses first and take pride in their standards of horse care. It is not just about riding them. You must be as enthusiastic about looking after them too
