Job Description

Reliable, friendly, self motivated person wanted to join a busy family/private yard. We have 4 children (2 away at school), 5 ponies, chickens and a dog. I am looking for someone to help me keep everything running smoothly.

Duties will include a mix of some housekeeping, looking after the ponies and some child care (when I am not around, or busy with the other children).

Housekeeping will involve cleaning, helping with ironing/laundry and generally keeping things tidy.

Ponies - feeding, mucking out, grooming, lunging/exercising (some experience of plaiting and trimming, preparation for shows would be preferable)

Childcare and may involve driving to activities, taking out on hacks etc.The children are aged 14-7.

On occasion there will be sole charge if the family are away. Driver essential. This is a live in position with self contained flat.

Requirements

Proven experience with horses/ponies essential, a competent rider preferable. Plaiting and trimming experience would be useful.
Above all, a love of the outdoors, a friendly nature, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.

Self contained flat with own access (kitchen, bathroom, living room and double bedroom). Internet access. Use of car.
