Job Description

Small friendly, versatile team are looking for a lovely, happy, smiley, hardworking person to assist with general yard duties plus be willing or have experience with preparing yearlings for racing & fittening the older horses before returning to racing. Can offer a permanent full time position but would consider temporary or part- time for the right candidate. Would consider non rider with good yard/stable management skills.

Requirements

We would really like someone who is able to work as part of a team & yet be able to work on own & possibly take some responsibility. racing/youngstock experience would be helpful but not essential. Most important is a willingness to learn and progress.

Required Skills

Riding; Driving license; Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Lunging; Bandaging; Trim/Pull; Exercising; Starting/Breaking.

Required Expertise

Livery; Flatwork.

Accommodation

On site mobile home accomodation - has one double bedroom, one small bedroom, galley kitchen, shower bathroom & open plan sitting/dining room.
Furnished, warm & clean. . Suitable for single person

The Facility

Small yard based in Chipperfield (close to Kings langley) Hertfordshire. J20 M25 Indoor stabling, indoor school, manege, round pen, fittening track, horse walker. approx 20 horses majority thoroughbreds. Yearlings to back for pretraining, horses in training for holidays/rehab. Small friendly versatile fun self motivating team.
