fab job highly recommended by present and past girls. private yard (with other help 4 days a week) show horses(hoys), oldies, hangers on and yougsters. daughter now at uni, so not so much showing this year, but quality horses in and fit. plenty of riding, but must have experience riding good horses, no schooling required but must be able to ride out safely and sensibly. if capable there might be some competing, preference will be given to someone light enough to ride brilliant 13 hh shp. must be competent enough to genuinely take sole charge and recognise a filled leg or lameness without prompting. ie i need to feel that if i go away for a couple of days everybody will be looked after well.
we also have 4 lab girls and breed labradoodles, and have llamas and sheep!!
So must have a good sense of humour!!! in return there is a lovely self contained oast house to live in, reasonable wage and bills paid. unfortunately we can take NO animals, (have enough of our own) and no children. the job might suit a couple or 2 friends as i feel sometimes it is hard on a sole groom after hours. there is a possibility of work for partner if can build, or garden and do general maintenance. i think the minimum age is 21ys. you must be able to drive and have own car as we are on the edge of the village, but tescos is a good 5 min drive away. we are in the kent hills 15 mins from ashford (35 min train to London) . please ONLY reply if you have checkable references, and PLEASE don't just message me back to your profile link with no relevant information in it! The Facility

lovely 8 horse successful private yard with competition ponies,( dressage and showhunters.)(HOYS -riding horse, hack, and 15hh shp etc. winter hunting, some showjumping etc, - winner olympia veterans 2008 and 2009. reliable working pupil needed for yard,and some travelling to major shows, .. easy going employer and fabulous commited head girl,( and one 19 yr old daughter) must be able to be motivated and ideally small enough to road exercise 13 hh pony, but not essential., . must drive and like dogs! returned from Australia, Sept 2006,,after 7 years there, but all backpackers, and current groom who worked for us highly recommend the job.
