Job Description
apprenticeship to gain a diploma in work-based horse care and management, with riding if capable.
support and training towards key skills and first aid certificate given.
be placed at a top professional yard of eventers and showjumpers. have the opportunity to travel to shows and sales and be part of a happy and successful team.
previous experience with horses is essential and you nust be capable of all basic stable duties.
5 1/2 day week to include weekends

The Facility
we have a busy and exciting yard of approx 21 horses stabled, with others out. they are all competition horses or national hunt stores that we hunt in the winter with the quorn and event (to 4* level) and showjump (to AIT level) in the summer.. it is on a farm of approx 200 acres with 2 arenas, an indoor horsewalker and good hacking. we produce the horses to sell and have sold the winners of 1*, 2*, 3*, 4* events, as well as european, world and olympic championships.
