Job Description
PLEASE READ ALL THE POINTS CAREFULLY! PLEASE ONLY apply if you fulfil the requirements! Very talented, experienced competition riders sought with experience of backing/starting young horses? A unique opportunity has arisen for 2 talented, committed people to take sole charge of horses belonging to two owners. Some horses are only 15.2hh & real quality so lightweight riders only (11st max). Applicants MUST have extensive experience of affiliated competitions & will have preferably started out competing ponies, MUST have experienced of BSJA Discovery & above or BD Elementary & above. In effect you will be your own boss with very capable, well bred horses to school & compete just as if you had your own string of competition horses but without the associated costs & risks of setting up a yard alone. Horses go from unbroken home bred top quality youngsters to older horses competing affiliated BSJA & BD including stallions. You will hack, lunge & school horses to suit their fitness & ability, this will be on a rota to ensure complete & professional preparation towards competition. Riders who have only competed in local shows & unaffiliated competitions will NOT have the experience needed.
