Job Description

An expanding and successful Equestrian Centre requires a mature experienced Yard Manager with very high personal standards and sound underpinning knowledge in equine welfare and health management.
The job involves overseeing the daily organisation of the yard of 45 horses, supervising staff and volunteers and having the daily responsibilities of the welfare of riding school and livery horses.
Sound organisational and man-management skills will be essential for both the co-ordination of the yard duties and staff systems, covering daily tasks, rotas, holidays and disciplinary procedures. You must be self motivated, have a positive outlook and a desire to set and achieve very high standards.
Part of the job involves office work, keeping client and horse records up to date and checking daily lists on our booking system.
This is an ideal job for someone who enjoys variety and a friendly family environment, the successful applicant must be prepared to work as part of a team that strives to provide a professional Equestrian Centre.
An ability to teach would be beneficial

Requirements

We have international standard outdoor and indoor arenas, and 30 acres of post and rail fenced paddocks to guarantee turnout to our livery clients.
