Job Description
We are a small, friendly yard looking for a full-time Chief Instructor and a full-time Instructor/Groom to assist in all general yard duties, escorting rides around Hyde Park and teaching arena lessons.
Successful candidates will be:
- Fun and friendly with excellent people skills and a good level of English
- Preferably BHS Qualified (or equivalent), but good experienced riders acceptable.
- Maximum weight 70kg
- available to work full time (5 day week) including both weekend days
Candidates must have excellent riding and ground handling skills, ride to a competent standard plus ride and lead up to two horses at a time.
Have teaching experience, be able to teach and give instruction on horse riding, including teaching beginner adults and children to around medium dressage level.
For the Chief Instructor position you would need to be able to ride and teach to BHSAI standard, though the qualification is not necessary.
Our working hours are Monday to Sunday 7.30am to 6pm.
The duties include mucking out, grooming, tacking up and untacking, teaching, escorting clients on rides through Hyde Park.
