Groom (Seasonal Contract)
Us
UKME provides a 6* service to our VIP client under the umbrella of luxury hospitality and property management. We are currently looking for high calibre, professional Grooms to join us on a private estate close to Chertsey in Surrey. This role is on a seasonal contract to start as soon as possible through to approximately September 2012.
The Job
As a Groom your responsibilities will include:
• Exercising a variety of horses
• Mucking out
• Turning out
• Grooming
• Assisting children with their riding
• Ensuring the stables are clean and maintained to a high standard
This is a full time role requiring you to work from 8am until 5pm including weekends (on a rota basis).
You
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, conscientious, flexible and be an excellent team player. You must have:
• previous horse care experience
• previous riding experience to a high standard
• a keen interest in horse maintenance
• the availability to work full time including weekends
• your own transport
Required Skills
Riding; Schooling; Exercising; Natural Horsemanship.
The Facility
This is a private yard where we take care of a large number of horses for a VIP client.
