Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a capeable rider to school, jump and compete quality Irish horses and ponies. Chance to join a successful business dealing in sensible young horses and specializing in connemara ponies.
Applicant must be a capeable rider both on the flat and jumping and be able to ride a variety of horses and ponies from 14hh - 16.2hh. Must be capable of teaching young horses and ponies to jump and ride in an outline. Applicant must also be enthusiastic and able to show horses and ponies to clients.

The yard is 3 miles from Thirsk, North Yorkshire and has the added benefit of an indoor school. We usually have around 15 - 20 horses and ponies in work.
Most of the day will be spent riding, and yard work is kept to a minimum.
Foreign applicants will be considered providing you can send a video of your riding on the flat and jumping.
Accomodation available onsite in large static caravan.

Requirements

Must be a capeable rider both on the flat and jumping. Must be able to teach young horses and ponies to jump and work in an outline.
Applicants must be available for minimum of 3 days trial (not necessarily consecutive days.)

The Facility

Young event rider with fairly new business (2 years) in dealing/producing horses. Yard has onsite accomodation. 20 stables, approx 50 acres. Indoor school. Horsewalker etc. Transport to sj xc etc.
