Job Description
A reliable and competent general groom required at a small private yard with 4-6 horses. All routine horsecare and stable duties, including feeding, turning out, grooming, mucking out, paddock maintenance etc. Must be capable of sole charge. Hours 7-9 am Mon-Fri. Must be able to do occasional evening shifts as well (usually 2-3 days per week, 5-6 pm) and a very rare weekend when the owner is away with work. Due to hours required, the candidate would need to live quite locally and have own transport. Unfortunately there is no accommodation available with the job.
Currently I've got a temporary groom but will need a permanent one to start from about mid June 2012.

The Facility
Modern wooden stables with 5 lose boxes, electricity & water. Post and rail paddocks with water troughs and field shelters. 20 x 40 Flexiride arena, stick & ball field, hacking. Owner lives on site and does dressage & showing. Also plays polo so may add 2 polo ponies soon.
