Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small family yard set in 10 acres of Suffolk countryside, close to the village of Clare.
We have 3 dressage horses, all between 16.3hh and 17.2hh, one is working at Prelim, one at Advanced Medium and the other at Prix St George. Most competition is local, although there may be the need for some overnight stays.
We are looking for a friendly, flexible individual, with a 'get things done' attitude. The day to day duties will include; feeding; turning out; mucking out; driving the horsebox (Oakley Supreme) to training and competition; hacking; lungeing; keeping the yard and paddocks clean and tidy; managing feed orders and deliveries; clipping, trimming & pulling; shampooing horses & dogs; watering the yard's hanging baskets; late evening hay & yard check.
We are looking for someone to join in with our yard life and in return, we offer a relaxed and friendly working environment and modern self contained accommodation. We have 4 very friendly dogs and six cats, and can accommodate a further horse and small dog if necessary.

Requirements

A positive, flexible, 'get things done' attitude.
Must have Category C on driving licence to drive the lorry.

One bedroom cottage, with seperate living room and kitchen. Internet provided.
