Job Description

Experienced and reliable groom wanted for lovely high standard BHS approved livery yard in Epsom.

We're looking for someone who is responsible, a good worker and capable of taking sole charge of the yard for short periods. This is a part time position 5 days a week working from 8:00am to 2.30pm including 1 weekend day.

Yard backs directly onto 1000 acres of sheltered common with bridleways throughout.Our yard was given top 'highly commended' rating in all areas during our recent inspection.

Requirements

Must be competent, cheerful and with a strong sense of responsibility. You should have at least a years experience working on a yard, have some equine first aid knowledge and able to take sole charge. We're looking for a good team player who gets along well with others and can foster excellent relations with our clients.

The Facility

BHS approved private livery yard in Epsom - the home of the world famous Derby. Ours is a nearly new, high standard yard with lovely views backing onto Epsom Common (1,000+ acres of bridleways). We have 20 stables and the yard is run by an experienced manager/ instructor. Experience with horses essential, good sense of responsibility and ability to work using own initiative. General stable duties plus the opportunity to learn and ride in a lovely setting. Only a half hour by train to London.
