Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and willing person to join our team of Working Pupils. We are a competition and livery yard in the heart of Surrey with around 30 horses and great facilities. It is an apprenticeship position which offers a great opportunity for learning with a broad spectrum of yard experience. The yard is run by a BSJA UKCC Level 3 coach, there is plenty of riding for the right applicant and full training is given towards BHS / Diploma qualifications. On site Assessor
We operate a five and a half day working week on a rota basis and it is a live in or out position. A training salary of £100-200 per week is paid which includes all accommodation and training.
As this is an apprenticeship position we are only able to accept applicants up to the age of 24.
Requirements
We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, reliable, able to work within a team, have a passion for learning and a good sense of humour. Applicants should be able to work to a high standard in the care of horses and be looking to learn and to further their careers. Unfortunately we are currently unable to accommodate students own horses or pets.
Required Skills
Riding; Equine First-Aid; Lunging; Exercising.

Accommodation
Accommodation is basic student type with shared rooms. There are full cooking facilities and two bathrooms. Food is not included, however the local village is a ten minute walk away with a small selection of shops.
Benefits
This fantastic yard has excellent facilities and a pleasant working atmosphere. Experience can be gained working in the busy livery yard or caring for the competition liveries and the right applicant may be able to groom or compete at outside competitions.
The Facility
The yard has excellent facilities with 45 stables, 44 acres 2 schools( 60mx20m and 20mx40m), 8 horse covered horse-walker, show jump paddock and on site riding tracks. Situated on the edge of Chobham, Surrey it has excellent motorway access via the M3 and M25 and with the nearest train station being just ten minutes away in Woking it is well situated.
The yard is a busy mixed yard of full and part livery, competition horses and horses in to sell. The excellent facilities provide a relaxed training base for both the horse and rider.
The site also has the benifit of a on-site BSJA UKCC level 3 coach with regular BSJA training on site.
