Job Description

Responsible for caring for the ex-racehorses. Looking after the horses well being and environment, keeping the stables, stable yard and equipment clean and tidy. The ideal candidate would also be a competent rider assisting in re-schooling.

Requirements

Thorough sound knowledge of Thoroughbreds. Able to ride racehorses and start / break young horses. Able to produce horses to a high standard, to parade at racecourses. Schooling / Dressage / Showjumping.

Required Skills

Riding; Driving license; Equine First-Aid; Handling Youngstock; Schooling; Lunging; Bandaging; Plaiting; Clipping; Trim/Pull; Sole Charge; Exercising; Starting/Breaking.

Required Expertise

Dressage; Eventing; Show Jumping; Working with children; Flatwork.

Accommodation

On-site bungalow in secluded position, three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. 3-4 people sharing maximum.
