Job Description

This is a full time job looking after clients horses. We are seeking someone who is willing to commit to this industry and has an excellent work ethic.

This is an opportunity for someone to work for Caron Roberts Equestrian as a trainee groom and work towards either furthering their BHS/NVQ exams or starting off in the horse industry. The yard is a busy one which specialises in breaking, breeding and competitions and as such you will gain a varied but essential experience for you horse career. As part of a team of 5 staff you will, with training, be responsible for the care of several horses. There is the opportunity for you to bring your own horse as well. The starting salary for this position is £95pw but more will be paid defendant upon BHS qualifications

Must be a positive person to be part of a team and be prepared to work long hours as dictated by the horses

The Facility

We run a competition/training yard and have liveries on site

Two 60m x 40m outdoors schools one with floodlights, horse walker and lunge pen. Full set of show jumps inc jump for joy fillers and portable cross country fences, 10 loose boxes, 2 American barns with 17 boxes, wash down box, foaling box, rug room, restroom for livery owners and class room. CCTV cameras, ample parking.
