Job Description
Part-time groom at hunt-jum-dressage barn, part-time caring for two girls 5 & 2 1/2 years.
Requirements
Must have experience working with horses and doing general barn chores, tacking up and turning out, as well as and caring for small children.
Required Expertise
Dressage; Working with children.
Accommodation
Single room and bath in a family residence with washer/dryer.

The Facility
We currently have 12 insulated stalls, a tack room, feed room, and business office, an 80 x 160 lighted outdoor arena with rubber footing & closed viewing stand, a covered lunging pen with viewing stand, a hot walker, two run-in sheds, four double-fenced pastures and eight sand turn-outs, a wood shop, an equipment shed, and a cottage for live-in barn help, as well as the owner's farm house.
In operation for over 40 years, we have trained many working students, interns, and pre-vet candidates. We run an equine whole health clinic, using a variety of traditional and complimentary therapies, including Class IV Therapeutic Laser, acupuncture, light emitting diode therapy, chiropractice, and homeopathy. We also own a 9000 square foot state of the art, 4-doctor small animal hospital.
