Job Description
Must have experience mucking, feeding, turning out, blanketing, grooming and basic horse skills. Looking for someone who has horse experience and is comfortable around variety of farm animals generally. Low key private farm with 2 older retired endurance horses, small breed cattle and other small animals including dogs. Not a lot of animals. Small facility but within easy access to other larger horse facilities. Part time work for flexible person. Looking for someone who is organized, neat and clean and does a thorough job the way instructed, then takes ownership. Love of animals important and ability to work with dogs also a big plus. Possibility of farm sitting for honest, responsible individual. Very lovely setting on private estate. Friendly environment.
Requirements
Ability to lift feed bags and handle heavy lifting and mucking chores. Ability to run tractor desirable.
Non smoking farm. Require person to be drug and drama free.
Not a live-in position, no room for another horse, not a position for couples.
Looking for a long term person.
