Job Description
Camp Vega, in the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine (3 hours from Boston), is looking for a equine department head for our 20 horse barn, 2 rings, and 10 staff for private and semi-private lessons for riders between the ages of 8-15. Email kyle@campvega.com for more information.

The Facility
Interview or contact us at our Winter office in Boston to work at a beautiful summer camp located 2.5 hours north of Boston in Maine. With 70 years of camping excellence, it is an ideal summer job for those interested in working with young people ages 7-15 in an Equestrian program. We have employment opportunities for English instructors and maintenance. The summer season is from mid-June to mid-August. We offer excellent pay, a training period and many benefits . We are looking for instructors skilled in English/ Hunt Seat riding. Teaching experience is an asset. In addition, vaulting experience is a plus. Must be able to help with all aspects of the barn and horse care. Must enjoy working for children. We have on average 20 horses and a state of the art barn and riding rings.
